HITEJINRO Co., Ltd. engages in CSR activities to create a more joyful and happier society for everyone.

    • Chamisul College Volunteers

      Comprised of college students, the unit participates in diverse volunteering activities such as visiting social welfare facilities, emergency relief, and social awareness campaign with HITEJINRO employees.

    • Toad Volunteers

      Comprised of employees and college students, the unit makes homebuilding volunteering for homeless low income people in cooperation with Korean Habitat.

    • Blood donations

      We hold blood donation events with employees and the Red Cross every year, donating blood to the Leukemia Patients Association.

    • Disaster Recovery

      We take an active part in annual worldwide disaster relief efforts such as typhoons and floods, the South Asian tsunami, and Eastern Japan Earthquake.

    • Briquette sharing

      Each winter, we go visit people who are underprivileged to offer briquettes and make donations. This is part of our effort to help make our society a place where everyone can stay warm during cold winter.

    • Meal donation campaign

      Through this campaign, we make meal donations in the spirit of sharing. Every employee participates in the campaign on the first day of each year. We support starving children in Korea through Childfund Korea.

    • Show kindness for others through charity work on New Year's Day

      Our employees visit seniors living alone on New Year's Day each year to have a chat with them and give them holiday gifts to display our love for our neighbors.

    • Water Sharing Festival for celebrating Water Day

      On UN-designated World Water Day (March 22) each year, our employee volunteers talk about the importance of water and promote how to protect the environment and save water with “Raindrop” materials prepared to be handed out to citizens.

    • Chuseok festival

      We invite disabled people from welfare centers and their families and hold a Chuseok festival where they can make songpyeon (rice cake) and participate in traditional games to fully enjoy the blessed atmosphere of Chuseok each year.

    • HITEJINRO wall painting

      HITEJINRO's voluntary group comprising of executives and team leaders go visit low-income neighborhoods and participate in wall painting to improve the appearance of deteriorated walls.

    • Regular voluntary work at Seoul Metropolitan Children’s Hospital

      After building a relationship with the hospital through the Dream Voucher Project, HITEJINRO employees have formed a regular voluntary group and carrying out voluntary work for infants and children suffering from various physical conditions.

    • Carnation corsages for seniors on Parent’s Day

      Our voluntary group visits a seniors’ welfare center to put carnation corsages on seniors at the center and cook and serve meals for them to show their gratitude and respect to their elders.

    • Community scholarships program

      Community-centered scholarship program provides consistent support to local scholarship foundations including Icheon Citizens Scholarship, Hongcheon Mugunghwa Scholarship, Daejeon myeonghak Scholarship, Gangneung-Goseong Scholarship.

    • Love Cap Project

      ‘Love Cap Project’ provides consistent support to various scholarship fundraisers by collecting bottle lids to save 100 won a lid, supporting single-parent families, underprivileged youth education and counseling, culture programs, and awareness improvement campaign.

    • Nurturing young talent

      We made Scholarship Fund business agreements with ‘Daejeon Global Talent Promotion Foundation’ on nurturing global talent by raising 320 million won, and are also fundraising for gifted youth sponsorship with Seosan Education Support Agency.

    • HITEJINRO scholarship students

      Under a donation agreement with the Korea Student Aid Foundation, we offer scholarships to university students who are children of struggling restaurant business owners.

    • Support for Dream Project

      HITEJINRO establishes scholarship funds with golf players through the “HITEJINIRO Championships” golf competition. We also provide financial support for especially talented teenagers selected by Korea Association of Children's Center Council to help them develop their talent further.

    • Mini Library Project

      HITEJINRO employees donate secondhand children's books as well as books recommended by children to local children's centers. Through the Mini Library Project, HITEJINRO also helps with furniture and wall painting work so that children can pursue their dreams in a clean environment.

    • Cultural experience on Children’s Day

      We created and have been supporting field trip programs with a focus on experience-oriented events so that children can expand their dreams and experiences through cultural activities.

    • Making bread of love

      We give bread that our staff baked to those in financially challenging situations, sharing food and providing everyday goods.

    • Providing for the underprivileged

      HITEJINRO has implemented various community support programs for the underprivileged such as providing uniforms, rice, fuel, and winter dishes along with many regional donations.

    • School uniforms support program

      We have supported uniforms to low-income students in Cheonan and Asan since 2009, providing 339 students until early 2012 with uniforms valued at 134 million won.

    • Talent donation

      Our employees visit local children’s centers in an effort to contribute to society with their talent and skills. They make food with children, donate necessary goods like computers to children, and also provide related training for them.

    • Support for seniors living alone

      HITEJINRO visits disabled seniors living alone and local senior welfare centers on Parent’s Day and donates wheelchairs and other necessary goods.

    • Blue Ribbon for Hope Tree Campaign

      Through this campaign, our employees give personally prepared gifts to children and teenagers raised by their grandparents, instead of their parents, through local children’s centers around the world.

    • Executives' charity work on the company's anniversary

      HITEJINRNO's executive volunteers visit financially struggling neighborhoods in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul on the company anniversary to give necessary everyday goods and make summer desert patbingsoo (shaved ice with red bean paste) for them.

    • Support for the areas of the Philippines hit by typhoon Haiyan

      HITEJINRO has donated 100,000 bottles of “Seoksu” and “Puriss” from HITEJINRO Beverage to the Philippines to help this country that announced a national emergency when it was hit by typhoon Haiyan. We have been helping struggling locals in the affected areas through additional funds for restoring damages.

    • Christmas and winter kit

      HITEJINRO makes and distributes a Christmas kit containing long underwear and woolen gloves that the company purchased to help financially struggling and low-income families stay warm in winter.

    • Raising hope during New Year's Day

      HITEJINRO invites children from local children's centers on New Year's Day. We have them make postcards conveying hopeful messages for the new year and participate in a domino game. We also donate rice cake soup to nearby social welfare centers.

    • Green company

      Icheon factory in 2007 and 2010 followed by the Gangwon plant in 2011 was selected as a green company by the Ministry of Environment for their environmental conservation efforts together with green campaigns, which remind citizens of the value of water.

    • Kids stewardship program

      We made an agreement with the Korean Youth Chamber to protect children from social risks and promote their healthful growth and have raised 120 million won for kids’ safety awareness activities.

    • Promotion of responsible drinking

      We enlighten the public on “responsible drinking culture and anti-violent drinking” by making information available to various groups through a variety of communication media, including inserting awareness notices in our products and distributing copies of a responsible drinking brochure to liquor shops in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

    • Water Sharing Festival

      We hold our Water Sharing Festival each year on the UN-designated World Water Day (March 22) to promote the importance of water among the general public and provide clean drinking water to children in remote countries suffering from water shortage.

    • Medical supports

      We provide funds for medical treatments, such as vaccination and emergency surgeries, to help Korean Chinese people living in Korea, who often give up on receiving medical procedures due to financial difficulties

    • Scholarships

      We provide scholarships to 11 children of Korean Chinese families in Korea, including preschool children and students in elementary school, middle school, and high school.

    • Support for funerals

      When a Korean Chinese person in Korea passes away due to illness, old age, or an unfortunate accident, we offer funeral goods and drinks for the family.
